    Our Purpose at the Runaway and Homeless Youth Program exists as a result of legislation enacted on the 1970's, designed to provide a safety net for young people in crisis. We are faced with challenges of a society that is becoming more complex, and young people who have multiple issues to contend with. Our foremost priority remains to provide a safe haven for the vulnerable youth, while providing services that are holistic in nature for both youth and family.
